An exciting, guided tour of the Henrichenburg Shiplift Museum awaits. Afterwards, visitors have the option to take a cruise on the passenger ship “Henrichenburg” (at additional cost).

The Waltrop Ship Lock Park is the only one of its kind in the world to bring together four different descending structures from over 100 years of technical history. How do shiplifts differ from economy locks? Why were they not built in the same way everywhere? Will the Waltrop Lock Park become a UNESCO World Heritage Site?
Experience the historical and technical background of the ship lock park on site at the "Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg" and the Henrichenburg Information Centre. An exciting guided tour with the latest information on the status of the UNESCO World Heritage application awaits participants. The tour starts at the "Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg" and ends at the Henrichenburg Information Centre.
Afterwards, there is the opportunity to take a round trip on the "Henrichenburg" passenger ship. The round trip is not included in the price of the guided tour.
