Gastronomy

Gastrobus

On the museum grounds near the entrance is the "Gastrobus", an English double-decker built in 1959 with seats inside and tables outside. From there you have a marvellous view of the backdrop of the hoist and the jetty.

You can enjoy the unique flair of the industrial monument with light meals, non-alcoholic drinks, draught beer, coffee specialities and freshly baked cakes. Groups can be catered for with breakfast, lunch or a buffet if booked in advance.

The Gastrobus is open from March to October, Tuesdays to Sundays from 11am to 6pm (subject to change). In the winter months, our catering services are available by prior arrangement.
